Properties from a feng shui perspective: Part 100. Over the past few articles, we looked at how the history of Malaysian politics centred on Parliament House matched ancient I Ching text. So far, it has been a fascinating study as many of the revelations in the text coincided with actual history. To recap briefly, Parliament House was inaugurated in November 1963.

Properties from a feng shui perspective: Part 99. This week, we are still looking at Parliament House, or rather Malaysia’s history from the perspective of the I Ching and feng shui. Thus far, our observations are based on the hexagram that corresponds to its facing direction and date of its official opening in November 1963.

A Period Of Biting Through

This week, our tour of the Klang Valley remains at Parliament House. We find it such an interesting topic as revealed in our discussions in the past few weeks. This is an example of feng shui or environology practice in further detail, more than just looking at landform or Gua number of the main occupants. As you may know, feng shui is the practice of observing how nature works over centuries. Many of the principles were derived from the I Ching or Book of Changes written some 3,000 years ago. The book described 64 hexagrams (a series of six lines, some broken and others unbroken), each of which comes with a cryptic poem or message.
