Spacious Condos

DESPITE the economic slowdown, response to the RM140mil Boulevard Condominium in Bandar Baru Air Itam, Penang, has been encouraging with 60% of its 420 units sold so far.

Its developer, Reka Indah Development (Penang) Sdn Bhd, said that the freehold units, with built-up areas of between 936 sq ft and 1,200 sq ft, were selling fast.

Its executive director Yeap Hock Kee said the company was expecting a lot of enqui- ries on the remaining units, which would be showcased at the three-day The Star Property Fair 2009, which kicks off on Sept 11.

Piling work for the project, located in Lebuhraya Thean Teik, started two months ago and scheduled for completion by end of 2011.

There will be eight units per floor and each unit is priced from RM261,000 onwards.

“The main attraction of the project is its duplex penthouses that overlooks a captivating view of Penang Bridge and Gurney Drive,” he said when met at his office near Lebuhraya Thean Teik yesterday.

He said there were only 16 penthouses, with built-up areas ranging from 1,808 sq ft to 2,325 sq ft each

The project also comes with a children’s playground, jacuzzi, sauna, gymnasium, squash court, community hall, reflexology path, smart card access, 24-hour closed-circuit television camera surveillance and two free sheltered car parking bays for each unit.

Show unit viewing can be made via appointment at 04-8268000 or 04-8287700.

The Star Property Fair 2009, organised by The Star in colla-boration with Henry Butcher Malaysia and supported by The Expat Group, will feature the creme de la creme of properties and will take place at the G Hotel on Sept 11, 12 and 13.

A ‘lifestyle’ section has also been introduced as an exten- sion of the fair at the Gurney Plaza where visitors would find a varied selection of home improvement products and offerings with the aim of converting a property into a dream home.
